Unsupported Bluetooth® Stack

Thank you very much for taking the time to setup BlueMAGNET correctly. If you're reading this page, it's most likely that your computer does have Bluetooth® support, but your computer is using either the BlueSoleil Bluetooth stack or the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack which are not supported by BlueMAGNET. If you have Windows XP with Service Pack 2+ or Windows Vista, we may be able to fix that.
As a first step, you can try to uninstall the driver for your Bluetooth dongle then restart your Windows and see if it can detect the hardware automatically and install the proper drivers without your intervention. Before doing this step, please make sure that you have the original driver for your Bluetooth dongle in order to be able to install it back again in case our simple experiment fails. If Windows didn't recognize your Bluetooth hardware, it means that it's not going to run under Microsoft Bluetooth Stack.
The next step is to try using the WidComm Stack drivers
You will need to choose downloading WidComm Bluetooth software and see if it recognizes your hardware. If this didn't work. It means that your hardware is not compatible with BlueMAGNET.
You can always buy another dongle that runs under Microsoft Bluetooth stack. Please refer to our FAQ (Frequently Ask Questions) for some Bluetooth dongle recommendations.
In case all these steps didn't help, please send your diagnosis report to our support team. We will be more than happy to help you solve this problem.
Thank you very much!
